Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026
These terms govern your use of farmoury.co.uk and any Farmoury services. By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
1. What Farmoury is
Farmoury is a coordination platform. We connect local food producers with local buyers through community-based collection points. We are not a food retailer, a logistics company, or a food business. We do not buy, hold, or sell food. We provide the infrastructure for others to do so.
2. Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to anyone who uses this website, including:
- Buyers who browse and order produce through the platform
- Collection point hosts who receive and hold orders on behalf of buyers
- Producers who list and fulfil produce orders
Additional terms may apply to producers and collection point hosts when they register for platform access. Those terms will be provided at the point of registration.
3. Waitlist
Joining the waitlist means you consent to receive occasional updates about Farmoury’s launch. It does not create any contractual obligation on either side. You can unsubscribe at any time.
4. Platform use
You agree not to use this site or any Farmoury service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorised to access
- Interfere with the operation of the platform
- Harvest data using automated tools
We reserve the right to remove access for anyone who violates these terms.
5. Responsibility for transactions
Farmoury facilitates connections between buyers, producers, and collection points. The contractual relationship for the purchase of food is between the buyer and the producer. Farmoury is not a party to that transaction.
Collection point hosts are responsible for maintaining their agreed receiving and holding arrangements. Producers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and the quality and safety of their produce. Buyers are responsible for collecting their orders within the agreed window.
Farmoury is not liable for disputes arising from transactions between participants. Where we can, we will provide a process to help resolve disputes, but we are not a party to them.
6. Food safety
Producers listing on the Farmoury platform are responsible for complying with all applicable UK food safety and hygiene laws, including registration with the relevant local authority where required. Farmoury does not inspect, certify, or take responsibility for the safety or quality of produce listed by producers.
7. Intellectual property
All content on farmoury.co.uk — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Farmoury or used with permission. You may not reproduce or use it without our written consent.
8. Disclaimers
The platform is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about uptime, availability, or the accuracy of any producer listings. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the platform.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by English law, Farmoury’s total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the fees you have paid to Farmoury (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
